2018-04-10
JOINN(Beijing) and JOINN(Suzhou) were successfully passed the accreditation by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animals Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) in November 2017.
AAALAC International is a private, nonprofit organization that promotes the humane treatment of animals in science through voluntary accreditation and assessment programs. AAALAC works with institutions and researchers to serve as a bridge between progress and animal well-being. More than 1,040 companies, universities, hospitals, government agencies and other research institutions in 50 countries have earned AAALAC accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to responsible animal care and use.
In order to ensure and promote the quality of animal testing, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Community strongly recommend that all kinds of animal testing facilities for human health and medical research should be accredited by AAALAC International. AAALAC is the only global certification organization for the use and care of animals, with internationally recognized authority and quality standards. JOINN was the first CRO in China to accept the AAALAC accreditation. Since accredited in 2008, JOINN has successively passed the accreditation in 2011, 2014 and 2017.
